I live on a quiet, dead end street where my kids play with all the neighborhood kids and the parents supervise depending on who’s house/yard these children decide to occupy. We all do our part to send out drinks, snack, and to supervise….because that is our job and because we know that the kids will get bored and move on to the next house and we will have a quiet moment. Its a great neighborhood. 2 blocks from school, and 2 blocks from a fabulous park. It’s safe, it’s quiet, (when the children are occupied) and the sense of community is very much alive between myself and my neighbors. We watch out for each other. Stop by for a chat. And, CARE! Everyday I am thankful for my house that has become the perfect home for me and my children.
